Zack Miller (2007) fired a final round 67 (-4) to climb 8 spots on the leaderboard for T17 finish in Nationwide Tour's Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic. After rounds of 62, 73, 69, 67 (-14) Miller finished 10 shots behind former Pac-10 rival and California Bear standout, Peter Tomasulo. With his finish Miller jumped 5 spots on the Natiowide Tour money list from 50 to 45 with $59,573 in 2010 earnings. Also competing was Rob Grube (2008) who failed to make the weekend missing the cut after rounds of 72 and 67.Jim Seki (2003) also carded a top 25 finish at the Canadian Tour's Dakota Dunes Casino Open. Heading into the final day 3 shots behind the leader after rounds of 68, 65 and 67, Seki could not capture the same momentum in closing with a 1-over 73 for a T23 finish.
Zack Miller will continue his pursuit to climb up the money list in next week's Chiquita Classic in Ohio. Rob Grube is slated to join Jim Seki in the field at the Canadian Tour's Players Cup in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
